Before we do anything, let’s take a look at the chassis hole set diagram. For this step, we’ll be using the four holes circled in hot pink.

011

Grab the chassis and the enclosure from the components inventory. Turn the enclosure on its face, the side with the holes should be facing up, to expose its spine and hole set.

012

Lay it in place and make sure all the holes line up.

*It is possible that there are variances in the alignment from part to enclosure. If so, use the 11/64” drill bit to clear the way.

013

Grab four of the #8-32 1/2” machine screws and nut sets. From the inside of the enclosure, put the four screws through the enclosure and the chassis.

*Take another look at the hole set diagram and make sure that the machine screws are aligned to the correct holes.

Once the machine screws are through, screw the nut on til it’s snug. No need to tighten it just yet, we’re not done here.

015

Now that all four machine screw sets are in place and the chassis is in place, it’s time to install the fans.
