This evening I was at an open house party for some new neighbors of the farm in Northwest Ohio. Whilst indulging in some excellent food and wine, I was caught up in a conversation about mushrooms and what Sojourn Fare was up to. One of the gentlemen asked what stage I was currently at and I replied that we were optimizing the service model and looking at where to penetrate the market. Like clockwork, another fella popped in with a shit-eatin' grin on his face and said,
"Did you say you were trying to figure out how to penetrate the market?"
"Yeah, we're trying to figure out the market fit." I responded.
"That's easy," he replied. "Just throw some flour on it and look for the wet spot."
Thanks Bob Lucas.
